first off, thanks for organizing the equipment.  at first i was doubtful
this would work, but now that i see the simplicity of the system, i like
it.

second, can we always keep the modem mate and a portable MD hooked up to
the phone in the production room?  that way the modem mate will never
leave (not check out able) and there will always be a MD recorder to do
interviews.  we're doing more and more work for FSRN which means phone
interviews across the country and having the setup there permnanently
would be a great help.
