so i'm sitting here doing research on the origins of bi- and multi-lateral
computer communications network agreements, and looking through
requestions for comments, i come across RFC 3092, Etymology of "Foo" -- no

(mind you, my absolutely favorite is still RFC 527 "ARPAWOCKY" --
