[Imc-tech] IMC Web/Tech Meeting: Mon. June 8 @ 8 PM

As agreed at the May Steering meeting, we'll be having a Website / Tech 
meeting on Monday, June 8 @ 8 PM at the IMC.

The purpose of this meeting is to work on both the various tech needs 
and problems at the IMC and to focus on the growing editing needs of 
the U-C IMC website.

Who should attend? Anyone with tech needs, concerns or problems. Anyone 
with tech or web abilities wanting to help out. Anyone wanting to work 
on the website.

One of the top agenda items is to revise the IMC's Website Acceptable 
Use Policy, in order to make it more accurately reflect and deal with 
current usage and practice. Especially, the amount of spam, trolling 
and plain insults posted to the site continues to grow, and is a much 
bigger problem since this policy was first written. There is a real 
need to revise the policy to address this new reality.

Future IMC Web/Tech Meetings will be held on the first Monday of the 
month at 8 PM.

Please note that at the moment this is an ad hoc group, not an official 
working group. Any revised policies must be passed by Steering.
