[UCIMC-Tech] Problems Remote Connecting

I had everything working fine to connect remotely, but that function ceased
about 1 month ago. I didn't think much of it until Andrew expressed some
problems recently as well.

Did something change in the set up of the IMC network or servers? I cannot
connect to port 50000 anymore and when I attempt to do so I get this error
within putty terminal:
*"[morales at zeco ~]$ ssh -L50000:192.168.42.141:3389
morales at zeco.chambana.net
Password:
bind: Address already in use
channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 50000
Could not request local forwarding.

When I switch to port 49999 or 50001, putty allows me to make the
connection. However, when I use Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection it
says:
*"This computer can't connect to the remote computer.

Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the
remote computer or your network administrator."

Any thoughts???
