[UCIMC-Tech] fixx0 shell very slow

Hi,

	Typing when logged into fixx0 is unusably slow; there are freezes of several seconds every several seconds.  Shell (bash) really just responds to keystrokes cached during the freeze, then freezes again.  A normally  ten-second vi edit session is taking me five minutes...
