this could be done, but it would have to pass through
lists.indymedia.org and get forwarded.  upshot would be
"de-decentralization" -- if everyone used the easy list name, 
then we're still dependent on lists.indy for getting our messages through.

we could also use indymedia.us for the lists...
editorial at indymedia.us, tech at indymedia.us....

but really i'm fine with any old list, and am particularly partial to
already functioning lists...
