i was talking with kellan.  he says that the global site uses a modified

says kellan, "Its really as simple as installing the script, and its
requirements, putting a list of urls in a file, and installing a cron job
to run it every view hours."

this sounds _extremely_ easy.  would someone like to give it a try?
