It's an update on a story of wide concern in the community. It is also a 
report of a crime that has yet to be fully addressed by those with 
jurisdiction. I last spoke with the USFWS more than a month ago and 
things seems to have stalled. John Foreman's usual dissembling of th 
facts required clarification and I'm sure that I'm not the only one who 
will deal with the errors of omission in his column.
