Hey all,

Over break I was hoping to both upgrade to the most recent version of
Drupal 5.3 (we are at 4.7) as well as move the website to a location
with a faster connection.

I was also hoping to put together a front page for the website that
was not just news.  My idea is more of a splash page with blocks of
content from the various groups and listing our various projects along
with some basic info about the both indymedia and the U-C IMC.  My
reasoning for this is to resolve the numerous times I have told people
to go to ucimc.org and they get back to me saying they didn't learn
anything.  I will create some mock-ups and toss them around to you
all.

I am hoping to get some feedback on what you all think about these three things:
1.) Upgrading the Drupal installation (this will give us better spam
control and access control).
2.) Moving the website to a faster server
3.) Creating a front page to ucimc.org that properly represents all of
what the imc does, not just the news.
