Police attacked peaceful protesters in MacArthur Park, in East LA.
The march was organized by MIWON, who I marched with in 2003.
Multi-Ethnic Immigrant Workers Org Network - a beautiful coalition of all
stripes.
LAPD SWAT fired tear gas, rubber bullets, and one National Lawyers Guild
witness was beaten.
