Brian,
I presumed that you wanted this as a comment to to funferal's Feature 
article. Feel free to post it as a stand-alone article in the Local News 
column, if you'd also like.

I think the problem you're having is trying to cut and paste a Word 
document with the rich-text option enabled. Most of the time this works 
fairly well, but it was clear when I tried to do it this way that the 
formatting would've been screwed up in this case.

In cases like this, press the link that says "disable rich-text" down at 
the bottom of the entry screen and you'll get a plain text option. This 
solved the problem here and should be considered if you run into similar 
problems in the future.
