hi there!

Quick clarification... It would be to manage the financial part of the program, not the program itself :)  I think you're the only IMC that has a functioning bank account in the US. We were just wondering if we could put Urbana IMC as a collaborator on the grant proposal.

My good friend Sofia from Boston IMC is putting together a grant for getting all IMCs to go Drupal.
They need someone to help manage the project.
Anybody interested in this? sounds like there's some money to cover it.

Hey Brian!!

Crazy idea, but here it is. Boston Indymedia and Belgium Indymedia are collaborating in writing a proposal for this grant:

(Deadline: Nov 1st).

We want to build a Drupal prototype for ALL Indymedias. We are currently writing the proposal and wanted to know if Urbana Champaign would be interested in participating. Mainly, we think we have a great chance of getting the money, but we will need someone to manage it.  Show that we can function like an "organization". We plan include $$ for a finance person to do so and of course, thought of you guys.  Would you be interested? How much do you think we should ask for such a person (part-time, of course)?

We are currently also contacting Bolivia Indymedia and Twin Cities Indymedia, both running on Drupal, to work as techies on this endeavor.
