First off, I want to ask someone to take this job over for me, preferably
someone in the outreach working group. I'm happy to get it started because I
have the contact information, but I don't want to coordinate this. Please
help!!
Second, I am signing the IMC up for booths at the Farmer's Market and Taste of
Champaign-Urbana. We need volunteers to staff both--it's a fun and easy way
to help the IMC.
The FARMER'S MARKET booth will need staff from 7 am to 12 pm on the following
days: May 19th, June 2 and 30, July 14 and 28, and August 11 and 25. Two
shifts will make this a lot easier on people.
The TASTE of CHAMPAIGN-URBANA booth needs volunteers for Friday, June 15 from
5-9 PM, Saturday, June 16 from 11 AM-8 PM, and Sunday, June 17 from noon to 5
PM. For a fee of $25, we can sell IMC merchandise (CDs, radios, t-shirts,
stickers, books, etc) and I think we should do that.
Third, I still don't want to coordinate this. Perhaps one person can be
responsible for each venue? Just a thought.
