Form Letter:
- Letters intended to solicit articles from progressive
or underrepresented organizations
- Danielle and Pauline's list was lost into the ether
of computer failure; Pauline will reconstruct
- Final draft of the letter ready [attached]
Distribution:
- very little accountability for making sure that all
routes are delivered
- Omar and Belden taking care of leftover routes
- more rigorous delivery for future issues; Mike F.
on the job
McChesney and Rosenstein
- not much help here, very few journalism grad students
for these two professors who are focused on print and/or
audio
- Paul Riismandel and Pauline making presentation about
the IMC to a grad class by Nancy Benson; perhaps we'll
have some people interested from there
New Section on Youth
- Robert and Phoenix would like to start a new section
focusing on activism among high school age students,
going in large part through SWI Forum @ Urbana HS
- discussion about concerns of having a section on
- issue tabled to future date when articles come in
from these groups
Tabled discussion of mission statement to next week
