  You'd have to ask the Shows Group and IMC-Fest list, to make sure they won't need those for the IMC Fest.  If not, then I think it would be fine to borrow them.  You'll need to look through to see if there are the proper amps and speaker cables (Shows should be able to help with this).

    Yeah, computer speakers would probably die rather quickly! Last time I
    checked, the powered Mackie sub and the Yamaha monitors were
    functional. There is also an amplifier someplace for powering the
    Yamahas. I don't know about cables though. If you ask Shows, they'll
    probably let you use that stuff, since it mostly just sits in the
    closet as backup gear. They could also tell you for sure what
    condition it all is in. I'm not sure when I'll be free this week,
    between Boneyard and IMC fest stuff, but let me know if you have a
    time when you're planning on going over there, and I'll stop by if I'm
    in the neighborhood.
