Tonight, Tommy Griscom, Chris Evans and I sanded and painted the stage
skirts and I touched up parts of the stage itself.

Tasks still remaining:

1) Labeling mic cables (at both ends) with numbers, using a label maker we
have.
2) Running complete check of wiring to and from stage/mixing desk; putting
active monitors back in place; staging the Yamaha monitors and power amp,
just in case.
3) Check stage equipment inventory - make sure we have everything we'll
need.
4) Space - cleaning, rearranging tables if necessary, lighting and stage
(how exactly are we going to light the room and stage, outside of the stage
lights? Is the Christmas light canopy working?
5) More flyering, of course - tell everyone online, too
6) Move the piano off the stage and into a corner somewhere where it will be
out of the way of bands, audience, staging/stagehand area, etc.

Items we might need, after consulting with Chris Evans:

a) rope lighting - 30ft of blue (stage); 12ft of green (sculpture)
b) purple carpet - if we're feeling really ambitious and want to complete
the purple carpeting of the stage (I know this is not the highest priority);
the eventual design goal is to give the stage a solid black appearance
(done), blue rope lighting along the edges, purple carpeting across stage,
and blue outlines for the edges of the black steps leading to the stage (to
prevent tripping in the dark) - it may sound crazy, but the purple carpet is
actually dark and actually looks good under the stage lights

Please add to these lists if you see something missing! Tomorrow and
Thursday are the last nights to prepare. Please see Dan's list for more on
how to help *during* the festival:

.

Thanks, everybody.
