Alright, it's settled. The Urbana Y2K New Years Eve party will have to
be at Mike Lehman's bunker. I'm going to try to get us a keg of Becks.
There will certainly have to be a performance, perhaps at a different
location (my house, a block away), and good vegan/vegetarian/omnivorous
chow -- grilled to exquisite perfection on Mike's Y2K-compliant outdoor
gas grill.

At midnight, either the shit will hit the fan and we'll all be safe and
warm listening to distant gunfire, or nothing bad will happen and we can
all have a good belly laugh and make jokes about Mike's leftover
kerosene and giant cans of kidney beans. I've talked to Mike, and he's
cool either way: if it's not an apocalypse he won't be bummed (brave of
him after all he's invested in the apocalypse): especially surrounded by
his cherished buddies.

Scott said he would come.

This could be a really nice blowout.

Goodness, but I love Urbana right now.
