hey all!

thanks for your support!

the new news is that laura has been released without charge, and will most
likely be postponing her flight for today to wait for kathie's release.

our legal team's tactics and startegy has changed. everyone detained in
jail will be disclosing their name and will be released on their own
recognizance.

there has been an all night vigil outside the jail for the 2nd night in a
row. it rained through the night and got frighteningly cold. all of us
there at the vigil last night cooperatively built a tent city to shelter
us gfrom the rain- it was quite a feat of engineering- plastic bags and
ponchos and tarps strung and taped and closthepinned together- held up by
poles from signs, with rope ensnarling the shelterless but now useful
modern architectural facade of the jail.

we waited all night and are still waiting for kathie to be released. we
expect any hour now. we've heard she has signed a release form and needs
for someone to be home at kord's house, as she gave that # to jail as
contact info and they could call to confirm. 

her flight will be postponed as she has a court date set for dec 13th. the
new tactic is to leverage pressure by taxing the courts- everyone released
from jail will be requesting a speedy jury trial which will overload the
court system- hopefullt THEN all charges will be dropped.

i think all of our group will be returning today as planned - except
kathie and laura. i will be staying with them until tomorrow when i leave.
pauline and dan and sean l. have a car and will be staying with them post
monday.
