I just wanted to drop a short note to everyone who participated and/or
attended and/or voiced their support and/or built a stage and/or loaned
equipment and/or played great music and/or pulled cables out of the aether
and/or juggled time commitments and/or filmed and/or produced and/or
recorded and/or help lug equipment and/or designed posters and webpages
and/or spread the word and/or handled the door and/or donated their time and
efforts to making GiG an unbelievable event. Kurt's earlier message, that
our collective efforts really now feel like a Network, is well taken.

Thanks everyone, sincerely. I think that last night was the beginning of
what will be a great year for electronic literature. Next stop? Cook County
Jail? The Bronx? Seattle?

(serious about the Cook County Jail--spoke with the organizer of a literacy
program operating out of there last night)

I hope that as we move forward, we can keep up the epoets tradition of
simultaneous connected events. Eventually we plan to have the capability to
do this via live video stream, so Seattle Chicago New York could be hooked
up to each other all night long.

I've got about five favorite moments from last night. each one a classic.
can't wait to see the video (hey Kurt how hard would it be to burn quicktime
on a cd?) -- Many more classic e-literature moments yet to come.

Thanks again,

Scott
