This message was supposed to accompany the "subscribe" message. Goofup on
my part:

Newspoetry is an alternative online news source, in which credibility is
second to interesting writing; and a year-long collaborative writing
project. Newspoetry is available online at
http://staff.uiuc.edu/~gillespi/news/poetry.html. This listserve is a
forum for friends to talk about the news and give each other praise and
feedback on our newspoems. Let me or Bill Wendling know if you want off
