[Newspoetry] Iraq Visits

I came across an article about a visit by a delegation of Congressional
aides to Iraq, which is going on right now, and an upcoming visit by the
Pope, scheduled for early December.  In both cases, the CIA and the
State Dept. attempted to discourage these visits with the excuse that it
is too dangerous.  Well, they could get hit by stray bombs, but it isn't
Saddam that is dropping those things of course.  In both cases they
failed in their attempts to keep information about the real situation of
starving children, etc from coming out.  Most of the press seems to be
cooperating in the Clinton regime's attempts to keep this story
suppressed.  I have seen nothing in the press about this, except an
article in the National Catholic Reporter this week.  I did hear we were
bombing Iraq again yesterday on NPR.
