side. Plus, the data needs to be in a special format.
(RealMedia is best, IMHO) I believe the RealMedia enocders (to make the
files) are still free.

IMHO, MP3 is best for downloading and saving, RealMedia (formlery
RealAudio) is best for streaming. RealMedia files CAN be converted
to MP3 (and vice-versa). BUT, MP3's can rival CD quality, while
RealMedia is genrally about as good as AM radio. (any higher quality
won't stream over 28.8).
