My paraphrase of "Mending Wall"

Something in my ane that doesn't love Pink Floyd's "The Wall"
I think it's probably the 'roid on the left
'Cause the one on the right is into Gilmour's solos
(Especially the one in "Young Lust" where he freaks out
And then it, like, fades into the phone ringing then
There's that operator who's like "It's United States
Calling" and "He keeps hainging up...") I
Always thought I would probably hang up if United States
Was calling me, too. I mean, who the hell is United
States, anyway. I got a few uncles, but none of 'em's
Named Sam, If you know what I'm saying.

Though, I'd have a thing or two to say to U.S.
"Ownership is not the most equitable principle
Around which to organize a humane society", for
Instance. "Tear Down the Wall...", Might get
The point across, and please the 'roid on the
Right, to boot. "The bleeding hearts and
Artists make their stand.", man.
"
