In memorial to this sad day:

Peanuts No More

Well, those folks are gone
But will always be around
Among your friends
Closely shared reminisces
Of real life.

Everyone seems to be saying
Let Charlie Brown
Get to kick that damn football
Fucking jocks always think that way.

The one thing that
Always broke my heart
Was that he never gets to kiss
That little red-headed girl.

That’s a lot more like my life
Goes to the core of my existence
Brings a tear to my eye
Keeps hope alive.
