ELVIS WASN'T CALLED THE KING FOR NOTHING

Elvis wasn't called the King for nothing.
He was related to the royal family.
That's the incredible assertion
of certain experts in the field of genealogy.
It took a team of trained researchers
who were acquainted with the peerage and nobility
to do all that documentation
and trace the long and convoluted Presley pedigree
back home from Tennessee.
He's not half-Cherokee after all!
--'Cause the Enquirer found the Church of St. Elvis in Wales.

That's why Elvis wasn't called the King for nothing.
He's kissing cousins with Her Majesty and Princess Di.
Still, he served in the U. S. Army,
just like my dad or any average ordinary guy.
But then he went into the movies--
Did Jailhouse Rock and Blue Hawaii, too.
In '68 he made his big comeback in Vegas.
Hey, what's the King of Rock 'n' Roll to do?
He proved he wasn't through.
His blue suede shoes were blue.
The colonel told him to.
I'll say a prayer for you
now at the Church of St. Elvis
at Graceland in Memphis
and the Church of St. Elvis in Wales.

news sources, will appear as song lyrics on the upcoming CD, <113
Carolina Avenue,> scheduled for release on October 25, 2000.
