Fidel Castro had gone into a coma, which apparently required doctors
to remove his head.  They kept his body close by, still in its
trademark fatigues.  When Castro came to, instead of transplanting his
head onto another body, they transplanted a new head onto his existing
body.  I guess his leadership and vision were all located below the
neck or something.  Anyway, afterwards he was fine, if unrecognizable,
and the revolution continued ...
