FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS, has life as a hard-working artist/activist got you
down? Are those long and thankless hours of puppet-making,
community-building, organic gardening, airwave-pirating,
newspoetry-writing--and all those meetings, meetings, meetings--becoming a
bit too much to take?

Then maybe what you need is a getaway to MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA, a shiny
little town with plenty of sun, sand, surf, and shoreline to take your
mind off the stressful business of making the Revolution a reality in your
hometown!

YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED to visit the modest yet charming accommodations
of Beachhouse Recording Studio in the cozy and historical Beverly Shores
neighborhood of Michigan City, just two minutes' walk from a clean, sandy
beach and one of the largest bodies of fresh water in the world!

This dream weekend (or mid-week!) getaway can be yours for the mere cost
of the fossil fuel it takes to get there. Here's how to order: Simply
reply to this very e-mail, stating who the heck you are and when you want
to come visit. IT'S THAT EASY! Paul will be happy to process your RSVP
within about a week (as access to the Internet is a little iffy here at
Beachhouse). Paul will also personally co-ordinate with you the best date
for you to be his guest and provide you with directions from points south,
north, west, or east.

Meanwhile, feel free to try to contact Paul by telephone at 219 872 0131
(present technical difficulties should be ironed out within a few days) or
by voicemail at 217 344 4302 (ditto). He is happy to report that he has
recorded three songs at Beachhouse already this week, including two brand
new tunes penned right here in the beautiful Michiana region. He has also
found three coffeehouses at which to ply his trade.

Protagonists in his newly recorded works have, so far: lied about
absolutely everything including the part about being a tight-rope walker;
destroyed the entire western half of Porter County and torched a VFW hall
parking lot in Frankfort, Illinois; left town forever (with some unspoken
regrets), and translated a postcard from Portugese. The new album will be
called 113 CAROLINA AVENUE (after the original address of the duplex where
Beachhouse Studios now resides) and will be mixed, mastered, packaged, and
prepared for distrobution in Urbana, Illinois, by the numerous creative
and technical staff of the Hand-Made Record Label in Urbana, Illinois--all
in time for the Winter Holiday Season.

In short: The scenery is beautiful. Wish you were here.

lovepaul
