It is a racous day after
Nader lost, of course
Just part of a long term plan
It is clear no one won
Will governance revert
To the social neanderthals
Or be shakily grasped in the hands
Of a New Majority?
Consisting of all of us
Not just those who voted for Gore
But those who voted for Ralph
But what they really needed
Was a more cooperative vision
Not of what they feared
But what they might dream
They can look to everGreen

It is not over yet
Gore is clearly the choice of the citizens
Deprived by that vestige of slavery
The Electoral Uncle Tom's Cottage
Don't blame Ralph for that
Besides look at the votes
There is a New Majority
in our nation
That has been deprived
of they're choice of anyone
Butt-Bush
Looking toward that everGreen

If the Dems find a little
Humility and wisdom
They'll see just why
It doesn't pay to keep steering
To the middle of the road
When there are tanks coming at you
In the other lane
Clanking into the past
Better to grab the Molotov cocktail
That Nader offers
(Careful-there's a stiff at the wheel!)
And steer carefully
Away from the positions of the other side
Give us a little respect
Meet us halfway
The start of a ruling coalition
You've got just a couple of years
To set aside your pride
To decide to let the people govern
Instead of the bank accounts
Of your corporate pimps
Who will eventually share your cell
When we clean up this country
And will it to our children
After the bonfire
Of the credit cards
Warming us beneath the everGreen
