howdee, friends and neighbors,

we here at the HAND-MADE RECORD LABEL would like to welcome new recipients
of this bulk e-mail to the ever-maturing promotional and distrobution
network which serves the budding yet shoe-string-budget career of
songwriter Paul Kotheimer (and friends).

HERE'S WHAT'S NEWS:

113 CAROLINA AVENUE SELLS OUT FIRST PRESSING!
SECOND RUN IN MANUFACTURING RIGHT NOW!

admittedly, the first run was ONLY 50 copies, and a good number of them
went out as freebies to the many interns, volunteers, and family members
who helped make the CD a reality. many, many thanks to the folks who
attended release-party performances in Urbana and Chicago. especially to
those that had $1 bills on hand so i didn't have to keep breaking
twenties.

if you still need YOUR copy of <113 CAROLINA AVENUE,> by golly, send me an
e-mail or make out a check out to PAUL KOTHEIMER and send it to the
mailing address on your screen, and the cheerful and attractive staff of
interns here at handmaderecords.com will be happy to fill your order in
time for the blissful holiday season. CD's are $12 each, plus $2 postage
and handling.

PRINCE MYSHKINS HEARD ON NPR!

those of you who had NPR's "Morning Edition" tuned in on Thanksgiving
morning might have heard a bizarre song about turkeys and world trade sung
by a madly creative guitar-accordion duo from San Diego, California.
those were the Prince Myshkins! their CD, <Shiny Round Object,> is
available from the Hand-Made Record Label as of December 2000. respond to
this e-mail for details.

LIVING ROOM TOUR 2001!

Songwriter Paul Kotheimer played an "intense and engulfing" living room
concert in Urbana this weekend, which prompted many in the audience to
ask, "When's the next one going to be??"

Well, you, yes YOU, dear reader, could be part of the answer to that
question, IF you or someone you know has a LIVING ROOM-- "Why a living
room?" you might ask. because that living room, believe it or not, could
be the location of a HIP, CREATIVE, INDEPENDENT ACOUSTIC MUSIC
CONCERT!--it always leaves the crowd satisfied, and it almost never annoys
the neighbors like one of those pesky punkrock shows. reply to this
e-mail for more details. and, as always...

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT MUSIC!
