I'm down on my knees
I'm beggin you please
write some newspoems now
or I'll have to write them somehow

my poetic finesse
is decidedly less
than I'd like it to be
so please write some for me

Out website will languish
in this no-content anguish
the investors will chortle
when it turns to a portal

So sing the soundbite electric
send me poems eclectic
on the stories that strike you
