'Bout time someone
Rang that ol' Liberty Bell
Things have gone so wrong
When it was made a symbol
Rather that a functioning paradigm
That fellow with
Voices in his head
Was right that it
Had been too long gone
A noise calling
The public to freedom
Instead of empty talking head
Politicians, journalists, pundits
All taking advantage of that ol' bell
Talking about it
More like you talk of the dead
Lots of reverence
But please hold the relevance
We don't want people
To get the wrong idea
And think that they are really free from
Corporations from sea to shining sea.
