sight on fifty-eighth street

a faded
almost invisible
greyish recycling logo
adorned the side
of a gas guzzling
thick
black
smoke-spewing truck
i'm guessing someone
realized the irony
in the original adornment
but failed
to wash away the sin
the hypocrisy
completely
