[Newspoetry] Gillespie statue idea rejected

The statue of Abraham Lincoln will remain in Carle Park in Urbana, IL
in a decision by the Champaign County Board which has taken the wind
out of the sails of the small but silent movement which advocated
replacing it with a statue of Urbana Poet Laureate William Gillespie.
