Not sure if this got through to the list yesterday.  I've been having
trouble posting to Prairienet newsgroups, posting responses to things on the
IMC newswire, etc.  It's as though I've ceased to exist.  Please disregard

New Calendar

I see where Congress
with its unimpeachable priorities
is considering legislation
to create a new calendar.
Not the months, but the years.
We'd start next year as the year One.
One AWTC.
This year, the year we're in,
would be the year Zero -
Ground Zero, you might say -
and all the other years before
would be BWTC.

Yes, it was that important,
that significant.
It was the Attack on America
and America Fighting Back.
Time as we know it stopped.
There was a shift in the space-time continuum
because we're the United States of America,
the World's Only Superpower.
Jesus Christ, Incorporated
if you get my meaning.
Like Christ, we're fighting against the Evil One,
and we will rise from the dead.


I'm making all this shit up
about the bill in Congress,
but I had you going 
just for a minute
didn't I?

Now don't forget
your last-minute Christmas shopping,
and try to spend even more
than you did last year.
It's the patriotic thing to do.
