Calling all newspoets!

Your poetry is urgently, desparately needed to counteract this most
prosaic of political climates.

(There is a mean-spirited sort of poetry in the WTO's choice of Qatar
as a meeting place.  But not nearly the kind of poetry you are all
capable of.)

A heart-shaped box of chocolates (or other suitable edible item) will
be hand-delivered to our first lucky author.  You can claim it as a
deduction on your tax return.
