T-shirts: I hear through the grapevine that Newton Bigelow's agent has
some T-shirt ideas. Anyone else? These T-shirts are going to be
hotter than Harry Potter!

b) we're once again running out of pomes. I hereby offer "free beer"
(or equivalent) to the first 3 (count them) three poets out of the
gate.

Some random assignment ideas:
* A love poem called "unreasonable search and seizure"
* Ari Fleischer mad libs
* An ode to Ted Koppel
* Poetic text for the headline crawl at the bottom of the screen on
CNN, NBC, etc. (this was already kind of done in a recent New Yorker,
but hey)
* A stealth poem
* A poem made entirely of fragments of G W Bush quotes no shorter than
three words in length
* News for mice
* A sentimental poem about Gary Condit
* A Christian poem that answers the question "What Would Jesus Do?" in
the current geopolitical context
* A non-religious poem that answers the question "What Would Godzilla
Do?" in the current geopolitical context
* A lament for all that have died on and since Sept 11th
* A poem about today's heroes (whoever you think they are) in the
epic style of Homer
