Tomorrow
Would be the chime of bells,
Bringing beautiful music
That Christmas shopping sells.

Tomorrow
Will be the great time
That the burdens of nine-eleven will be lightened with no music
As we rebuild American innocence, like Mello Yello with lime.

Tomorrow
We will remember one happy point in this new Afghan war,
Where four relief workers--all female--were rescued from the Taliban,
And we hope that in this predicament there will be happy stories more.
