Memo to News Media: Make Words Work for YOU!
(This week: "Kabul")

Original pronunciation - "Kah-boole'."

Sounds sort of tough, *very* middle Eastern. 
Also sounds like "kaboom" which could evoke guilt 
in patriotic Americans who wish to kill all the evil people
but none of the good ones.

New pronunciation - "Kobble."
 
Sounds stupid. Like "gobble." Not so tough. 
Brings to mind, of course, turkeys. 
And we all know how ignorant they are. 
I mean, they'll go out in a rain storm and look skyward 
to investigate and then drown in their own flooded craws. 

Next week's word: "Islamabad" (This one is too easy!)
