Catching up on my NewsPoetry, I ran across your poem. While I
appreciate the sentiment, I think you're arguing backwards. You
argue that War X did not bring freedom (well, usually you argue
that their points were not freedom, but whatever). That may
be, but is irrelevant with regard to whether Freedom X is possible
because of ("was won for us by") a war we fought to preserve it.
