All the News that Scans in Fugues
Hidden Hand Rules of NewsPoetry

This is what NewsPoetry promises,
but does it deliver on its promises?

Let's think of the state of its standing,
by variations of how its sense stands.

1. All the news that scandals
............................. scrambles
............................. scrams
............................. scams
............................. screams
............................. schemes
and so on, out of the "sc" allitterative box,
which a cat has played in and played out.

2. All the screws that scan
.............. skews ..............
and so on, but the variations for nouns
seem to pull the sense of direction in
meaning somewhat differently, as if
the verb variations went, say, sideways,
while noun substitutions went vertically.

3. Awes: the views that scram
............................................
    Oz reviews flat skeins
As more variations in the range of sounds are introduced,
any underlying phrase undergoing said transformations vanishes,
although I am still retaining (roughly) the feet (the or de-feat) of phrase.

4. Always noose your trampolinearations for summary assaults.
Once we surrender meter and feet, though, we may be lost,
unless we insert, pre-transformatively, some expansions,
that act like joints of the ever flexible phraseology.
retaining meaning (if you translate transirradiated sub-atomic texts),
like a dam retains water,
or a god-dam retains fire.

5. Don't forget the hyperlink,
or take out the trash, please,
or else the poem is not news,
no how scathing it may seem --
it shall escape unscathed --
which leaves me scathing,
unwatched pots boil on a stove
cooking noodles' scatophagony:
www.NewsPoetry.com.

6. And, I prefer a bye-line,
ensignateurial bytes of byes,
which is some be-yes or b-s,
for my bye-nary bientots (be on toes)
Thanks for listening,
Donald L Emerick
