An Urbana, Illinois publisher discovered a macro embedded in recent versions of Microsoft Excel. When the spreadsheet utility is used for accounting, the macro automatically embezzles money and deposits it into bank accounts owned by Microsoft. Bill Gates, vacationing on his island, could not be reached for comment.
