Res Verses

In a First, a Lesbian Is Elected District Attorney in San Diego
Judge Bonnie Dumanis of Superior Court will become
the first uncloseted gay prosecutor elected in the country.

Now Ms. Dumanis also promises to enforce morality laws,
and to prosecute strictly all practicing heterosexuals acts,
even though many heteroes have argued for years that
their acts are perfectly natural and that
they should not be criminalized,
for the alleged crimes are normally victimless events --
shared acts of mutual intimacy between consenting adults.

Legislators and judges, though, generally reflect
the moral prejudices of the larger population --
and long have they trampled over anyone
with a different idea on such personal matters.

Thus, it is expected that Ms. Dumanis' campaign
to stamp out heterosexuality will enjoy
wild and widespread public support and
be generally sustained and supported
by other governmental units.
