So Schwarz lied after all
when he said he didn't do it

but let us agree not to
state the obvious:

he did it.
Motion to strike that
sustained.

Raggi tells us that perjury
threatens justice's heart,

then rules against discussing
whether or not Schwarz did it,
forbidding, in effect, both lying
and telling the truth.

I am Louima, therefore
I am forbidden to write this poem.

The blue wall of silence crumbles away
to reveal another.
