"It was unclear if the discovery of empty chemical warheads made
conflict any more likely." -- CBS

When the president flips a coin, these days
it always comes up tails.
A bell rings and he salivates
never falters, never fails.

A pretzel's his reward, these days
or maybe it's a war.
He doesn't catch the details, though,
and isn't keeping score.

It's unclear that discovering
the warheads makes a damn
bit of difference to the prez
and his rigged coin-tossing scam.

Because, you see, the coin has tails
on both sides, and cannot
fall any other way for Bush
no matter when it's caught.

There's no such thing as likelier
than certain, to be sure --
or is there? Perhaps Pascal and Fermat's
work was premature.
