Pertaining to Message no. 2:
Any more word on the investigation of the leaking of the name of a CIA operative
to the press?
It seems like the severe penalty of 10 years imprisonment and the $10,000 fine was not enough for
someone who did the leak to restrain himself from doing it, even though it is federal
offense to do so.

The newspoetry server, currently in an undisclosed location, is
having its OS reinstalled. When it comes back up, stuff will need to
be reconfigured and transmogrified, so newspoetry.org might not come
up right away. I will keep y'all posted.

Subject: [Newspoetry] Bush's anti-leak policy leaked
"WASHINGTON - Concerned about the appearance of disarray and feuding
within his administration as well as growing resistance to his policies in
Iraq, President Bush - living up to his recent declaration that he's in
charge - told his top officials to "stop the leaks" to the media, or else.
News of Bush's order leaked almost immediately.
Bush told his senior aides on Tuesday that he "didn't want to see any
stories" quoting unnamed administration officials in the media anymore,
and if he did, there would be consequences, a senior administration
official who asked that his name not be used told Knight Ridder."

Someone will lose . . . So that baseball achieves the tragic vision that
democracy evades."
