[Newspoetry] whither newspoetry

Dear newspoets,

As far as I can tell, nothing I send to the newspoetry list is making 
it to the newspoetry list. I get no copies of the messages and they do 
not appear in the archives. This, and the disappearance of the website, 
and the failure of ISPs to respond to Joe's and my email requests, is 
enough to make me want to manufacture an elaborate conspiracy theory. 
But it is probably all just computer stuff. Nevertheless it adds to my 
loneliness and feeling of alienation, computer stuff does.

This is not a newspoem, though I have sent a couple of those. This is 
my way of saying "Testing 123." I have been reading the list with great 
enthusiasm this past month, and have even sent messages to say hello 
and how I am and so forth, which I don't think anybody got.

So if you get this message, or if you got my previous poems and 
messages, somebody let me know so I can resume a more natural 
newspoetry demeanor. And focus my newspoetry worries on getting the 
site back on the web.
