Persisting in a vegetative state?

Why not leave green Florida behind?

Come to our cheese-eating paradise,
our cowpie-filled rocky pastures,
our rolling hillsides,
our stunning hilltops,
rolling streams down into rivers,
deep aquifers of potable water.

Come to Wisconsin and learn to love life
being one hundred percent awake and aware,
that life is not some sucking experience,
nurturing at the teats of a whorish GOP,
who fucks with your minds for the money.

Dear newspoets,
remember only you could set a world on fire,
for the world is pissing on us or us off,
trying to prove their converted masculinity,
which exchanged itself for the script of power,
the wampum that is wamping us down the tubes.
