If ever there were a compelling case of criminality to be made against the entire senior eschelon of US Government officials involved in planning and conducting the war in Iraq, the stories in TRUTHOUT today provide extreme evidence of probable cause. Unanswered, they are more than sufficient for conviction -- because they expose the lies and some of the misdeeds of the Bush regime.

Other counts of criminality (misdeeds) would relate to the
characteristic acts of corruption (massive sums of money misappropriated and "lost" or handed out to folks like Halliburton), cronyism (appointing incompetents to run critical offices of the government), and racketering (theft of elections).

We can only hope the 2006 elections defeats every Republican running for office -- as enough voters waken to the extent to which the BUSH regime is the most unAmerican government ever to hold office in this country. A purge can only occur through Constituional process, but a massive impeachment, and Senate trial and conviction, naming all of the BUSH gang, is the only way to go after this kind of mob rule.
