The Biggest Zeroes in Our Lives

An empty headed president, vacuous,
empty hearted, mouth full of words,
promises more billions of dollars
will surely cure our sad sickness,
this festering sickness unto death.

A billion is just a word to him,
he can't comprehend magnitudes,
so I want to show him the zeroes,
for a billion is a one, and then
nothingness for nine places after.

Mr. President, I want to tell him,
there is a difference between a buck
and a billion -- zeroes are real,
they're not as empty as your words,
as broke as your sense of budgets.

And, Mr. President, you destroyer
of governments, you wrecker of homes,
you ruiner of lives and livings,
you can't keep privatizing hell
like you've been doing for years.

Even family values will crumble
when houses and towns collapse,
when states fall into dire ruin,
and your people lack real thinking
of how to build a government up.

All your pals know, Mr. President,
is how to cut, kill and destroy,
to tear down the work of centuries,
the greatest government on earth,
lies in chaos, a nation in shambles.

Mr. President, history tells us
the zero was finally discovered
by the Romans in their empire,
civilization advanced to new highs
as the meaning of nothing cleared.

But, you have forgotten all this,
knowing nothing of nothingness,
knowing only your own emptiness,
knowing your own vacuity sucks,
and takes us down a toilet sewer.
