X marks the spot.

 

What spot?

 

A place on a map,

A date in history?

 

But, why X?

But why, X?

 

X means unknown

And known, as well?

 

My X is me,

It is my good name.

 

I have an X,

Well, really, two -

Fine wives, both,

In their time,

In my time,

In our time,

An X is Time itself --

When we XXXed,

Body lines crossing,

Except at the hub,

In X-rated rotations,

Xed out from here,

Oh X of Pisces yore,

Of an Xmas lore;

 

Once I knew X,

and now no more,

X is to be a spot,

Of a forgetting

That is not to be.
